OH, I'm glad you found it. That feeling of panic when you realize it's missing is an awful feeling.

Yeah it´s a horrible feeling.... and particular early in the morning when you don´t even had your coffee..Too early to panic What calmed me a bit was that I vaguely had a memory that I had the wallet in the work car when we left, so I was pretty sure I couldn´t have lost it before that, and people at work are very nice and trustworthy people. I would probably been alerted on Wednesday if someone had booked the car that day and had found the wallet, but nobody was using the car that day.

I once left my wallet in a cafe in a foreign country, and I was alone with no way to get back to where I was staying... I managed to trace it back (took me an hour) and it had been handed in. I was damn lucky.

I never told the family, they had started panicking the day I left convinced that I would end up in another continent by accident anyway.
