2024 Finlandia Trophy Men's Short Program

I love how Yuma spent the past week working on his spins because he wasn't happy with his levels and scores last week on that element, and this was one of his worst spin days that I've seen in years. His ability to fight the cactus curse can only go so far, I suppose.

Wow, Kazuki clean? I covered up my cactus shirt... maybe it was jinxing the men, so I'd like to formally apologise to the lads in the first group. I love seeing happy Kazuki perform after a clean skate, he's so much fun to watch! But I see the spirit of the perpetual double toe has passed from Shoma now to Kazuki...
Planned double because of the hip injury.

That whole event was terrible.

Despite Kevin's Lutz error, his program was terrific. Great energy!
Yuma did well, of course, but I prefer his long program.

Jun was not robbed and btw, did no one get the memo in Helsinki there was a skating event taking place?

Does anyone know what is the minimum place at which Kevin needs to finish here in order to be at the GPF? :)

I just got up and am deciding what to watch on the replays... sounds like the whole thing was a bit of a men doing men mess?

And chaos at China could mean 4th might be enough.
It's China, they have a solid tradition of chaos upon chaos going back a decade.

I would watch Kevin. I usually don't like watching skates with falls, and although Kevin fell on the Lutz, due to the entry, it didn't really look like a fall, at least to me. :) He is in a good place now and bringing the Kevin energy:pray:
