She’s really making the music do all the heavy lifting here huh. Jumps are getting done but the performance is a 0.

I have to agree, her focus is on getting her technical elements done. I think Firebird gives the impression of interpretation. Hopefully she will get exposure and help from a choreographer who can unlock her personality a bit. Very good skate for where she is at the moment.

Unbelievable!!
Compared to Elyse, Sarah is completely unfazed by debuting in the GP and that is an extremely promising sign.
Even though she never medaled on the JGP, I picked her out last year as the American junior most likely to transition to senior success. This is a great start.
Needs a list of help with presentation.
The dress is gorgeous close up.

Sarah is clearly very proficient at the technical elements - a clean free skate at her senior GP debut is impressive. I enjoyed the twizzles at the start of the programme, as they were timed well with the music, and the split jump at the end. Her performance and interpretation of the music don't match her jumping ability and her spins, but it's early in the season, and I'm sure she will grow into the programme as the season progresses.
