Popped combo probably cost Ami more than the 3A fall, but still a dreamy skate from her! I felt like I was watching a Disney princess!

Congrats to Yuseong on the win!

Well, go figure, the panel change was for the best, but the skaters also demonstrated their true worth.

well, silver+bronze probably won't be enough for Stefania, but maybe some surprises will happen...

Well done Kim. Two complete programs with the 3A thrown in. Great performance. I didn't have her in my top 5. Shame on me.

Well done Samodelkina getting 4th, no falls, completed all jumps.

I think it's possible with 24 points. There are a bunch of contenders left but they will end up taking points away from one another... For instance, Jia could win her event, doing so would place her ahead but would eliminate Rena or vice versa... Mao should take the 15 points and limit the others competing at her event as well. Of course, she has to wait and it's no longer in her own hands but it's not over.

I have a feeling the finals will require more than a 2+3 placement this season. I predict 3/4 Japanese + 1/2 Koreans + 1 Chinese in the GP finals this year

We will find out soon enough but here's the deal... 24 earned points is still better at this point than someone who still has to earn points ;) Also, Japan has withdrawn a few of their top skaters who had a bad first outing... So, how will that factor in ? Positively or negatively for someone like Stefania, we don't know yet.

Many skaters have the chance to place 2-3, for example: Yo takagi, Mei Okada, Nayeon Ko, Yuyae Kim, plus Jia Shin or Rena Uezono can surprise us with a gold so it will be tought fight for the final

There are also four contenders that will cancel each other out in China. Gladki still has a chance, but she’ll probably have to wait until the end.

That was a pretty good women's competition. Three? 3A attempts, various skating styles, mixed country podium, several international debuts...looking forward to watching them again!

Medal ceremonies a bit chaotic ;)

Excited to see Ami compete against Yuseong again in China, along with Yihan and Yo!!

Looking at the table, I feel Gladki needed silver to have a chance, because i think that only 2 skaters may repeat gold, which means that we have 5 women lined up with 15 points, plus only one place left for the top 2nd finisher. If only one skater repeats gold, or none, Gladki is out. It's certainly a good performance from her, but she should have picked Slovenia. Hopefully, Goidina can really shine there, to the tune of silver, or Europe is locked out.

Been too busy to watch most of the events this week(end) but I do have one quick question?
Why is a certain federation sending broken children out to compete while keeping the perfectly healthy,
more than capable kids at home? :bang:

Gladki:Soli, solid and once again solid.Really keep her performances on good standards.Still high jumps are really good from her.

Nakai:Seems that fall on 3A deconcentrated her.Overall really likes her both programs.Mature and clean on her body movement in point with music.

Kim:Korean technic on jumps shows up.Well done on 3A.Incredible performance.
