Sophie can use her Swiss passport to enter China visa-free, for 15 days. Even though she represents USA in competition. She could also fly directly from Europe to China. So it is definitely logistically possible for her to go to Wuxi for final JGP.

Which is exactly what she's going to do since she is now listed as competing in Wuxi. Good for USFS realizing that Sophie has a chance to make the JGP final and at the very least she gets more experience no matter what happens next week.

Yep. But it’ll be two spots. Her chances are much stronger now! I think she qualifies unless a gold places fourth and she loses a combined total tie breaker.

So a top four that looks something like this: Wang-Nakai-Takagi-Kim with Takagi winning the tie-breaker and all four girls will qualify and Gladki won’t.

Nakai is likely to win silver, yes...so, I suppose i need to hope that Kim beats out Takagi for Gladki to Q?
