Beautiful choreo sequence 💙 And a great program to finish the competition. That is a medal, but is it gold or silver? He has a big lead from the Short and that might just carry him to a gold.

Davydenko should really stop overloading his skaters with choreography. Mozalev had amazing stamina at this age, but not everyone does. Just judiciously less, sketch it in here and there, let the arms drop, the way the Japanese do, and Sheiko would be fine. I hope they finally learn it, but like... how many years they overloaded Mozalev? With Mozalev they at least had the excuse of the transitions being a separate PCS component. Now, nobody cares about transitions. Sorry, just a pet peeve. I really liked Sheiko and wished he could have podiumed.

Omigod, Gartung's 4Lz! 3F+2A+2A. But he really needs to tune up everything else if he can.

Okay, Fegan's team approach to choreography is what Sheiko's team needs. It showcases his lyricism qualities and grace without overloading him. Depending on how high is Fegan's technical ceiling, he could be interesting junior prospect.

Well, I expected Paradis to be a beautiful disaster and that's what he delivered exactly that. All superficial drama, no depth, no tech to support his ambitions.

Nakamura is my favorite from the JK contingent here, and I truly enjoyed this free for him. Kinda bad for Paradis to have Sheiko ahead of him in the SP and Nakamura after him in the free. Just shows how much innate depth is far more appealing than the show-off cheap melodrama. That 3Lo on the music was lovely. If I am happy with anything in this free in respect to podium is that Nakamura medaled.

There is so, so much going in favor of Vaclavik, I hope the troubles that are as obvious could be fixed. I would love to see this program clean.

I'm not big into junior skaters, but I remember Anthony from Canadian Nationals, so I thought I'd check in on him today to see how he's developed.

I don't understand the hype. He's at an age where he should be honing his technical talents if he's going to be a force in the future. A little more of that, and a little less pretentious drama, please.

The first time I saw him, he was so fresh and cool, but I think here, next to other skaters of similar age, the glitter just wore off. Kinda like Las Vegas in bight morning light. You can just see the fake better and the glide doesn't save it.
