2024 JGP Solidarity Cup Men's FS

Stefania and Elina are in positions to make the JGPF, so... Also Yihan.

And I certainly hope you were also complaining when it was just Russians with the occasional Japanese or Korean skater thrown in making the JGPF.
Yes I was. I like all different countries and region on each podium and each competitions. I will watch nationals if I want the same country winning

but then, do you care if it's only Ontario winning or do you want one from each province ;)

IMO judging is going back to what it was 15 years ago: They judge the skates, not the federations and coaches. We will never get rid of host country rewards, but othervise it has been quite fear this season what I have watched. And also "lower level" skaters got rewards from elements they do good. I haven't watched much this season and seniors so far not at all so this bases only to a few competitions and disciplines.
If you take the Challengers so far out of the equation you are right... it´s going in the wrong direction there but for JGP I agree. One of the reasons I love JGP.

Congratulations to Vaclavik. My brain is too fried to work out the GPF implications of that.
He has 24 points (4th + gold). Same as Seo Minkyu, but Minkyu is above him due to the combined total tiebreaker. He’s above Nakamura, who also has 24, but a silver and bronze. Takahashi’s the top qualifier so far with 28.

Time to see if anything is happening in Canada. @4everchan is it still on?
there are two events... SGE in Quebec and the other one in Alberta.. I haven't paid much attention but senior man (only Edrian skated this morning) and he sorta marked his jumps LOL but the rest should be happening all day.

Minkyu has 26

I have decided to believe that if Minkyu made it to JGPF after that SP Jaekeun can definitely grab a spot, don't tell me otherwise or I'm not going to be able to go to sleep. Right now the plan is to finally do something non-skating related and trying again to fix my sleep schedule, wish me luck on the latter. Thank you all so much for keeping me company, see you next week :thank:
