I think Shun might have let Yamamoto back into the medals there. I prefer his programme and skating, though. He was great at the Challenger I watched him in.

Ooh Sato. I hope he’s done enough. I guess he’s willing to take that L on that “flip” of his. At least he landed it though. I think he has the best set of programs of all the men in this competition.

Just curious. For anyone very well versed on the step sequence levels. Do most of these step sequences fall short on Lv 4 due to lack of hand/arm movement?

I remember some people pointing out that criteria for level in the past, and part of me wished it would be done away with, since not all music needs unnecessary hand flapping.

Some rough patches for Shun, and he looks pretty tired at the end of that skate. Still, he did not let the fall on the 4Lz stop him from jumping a lovely 4F, and he thought on the fly to get his 2A in when he fell on the 3A at the start of the sequence. A lot of self-possession and grit, and it pays off, putting him on the podium.

Shun has much more complex choreo than the other men. But, he doesn't have a lot of natural charisma. I say this as his number 1 fan.

Oh, I am so happy. Shun just always seems to lack confidence and the judges don't love him. I always want the best for him. He's so talented.
