They treated this year's terrible rhythm dance theme with all the seriousness it deserves and made it absolute fun.

Well that was fun! Nice program from Gilles/Poirier. Not my favorite outfits they've ever had, but I think it fits the RD as a whole.

So you can skate aimlessly for a significant part of the dance and still come first?

They were severely penalized in PCS. They fell at pretty much the least costly moment, between elements, unlike some others who fall on their elements and still win
