Speaking of Kao, the boy needs a jumps coach
Only so much you can learn from YouTube, child
Since attempting 4F his jump technique has gotten sloppy
And not only his Flip technique but other jumps as well
Last season I noticed he was using his full blade to launch into his 4T
Maybe that's why he suddenly started having issues with that jump... and possibly that foot

You don't have to apologize

I think he needs Noriko-sensei as his main coach for sure since she's able to keep him calm and focused but since she's a former Ice Dancer there might a limit to the advice she can give when it comes to jumps, particularly Quads

Kao learned to jump 4S and 4T by watching youtube videos but I think there's a specific technique needed to jump 4Lo and 4F efficiently and consistently (and less likely to get injured)

What a treat, I love your ramblings
You make such good points about Kao... I also wish he would work on his posture and lines, he is so expressive but looks rough around the edges compared to the other top Japanese men.

I've always wanted him to take ballet or do pilates...something to help him with flexibility.
I've mentioned this before but the thing that bothers me most about Kao is his stiff, unattractive Legoman hands

And the more he tries to express with his hands and fingers, the stiffer and more claw-like they get
