Misha was helping choreograph the performance of opening ceremony by the local skaters. So its nice that’s he’s invited to the Gala.

Not sure if I will be able to properly participate in the voting, given that I didn't really sleep last night, but it seems like a fun idea!

Also, I think they misspelled Fang-Yi Lin's name as Feng-Yi Lin in the schedule...

Don't tell me we're going to have music volume issues again.

If there was music playing during that introductory video, we couldn't hear it at all.

And we could barely hear the music during the opening group programme by the local skates.

He was definitely speaking Mandarin Chinese, and speaking it very well!

Beautiful programme from Tzu-Han.

But, I really don't like her dress. Too plastery.

Plus, the patten makes it look as if there is a black thong shining through the dress. And this clearly isn't the case, as the material of the dress is far too thick and there are too many petticoats for anything to have the chance to shine through!

EDIT: Seeing it again in the highlights shown after the broadcast officially ended, I realise that I was interpreting the dress completely wrong. Rather than the heavy dress that I thought it was, it was actually a string dress over a Viktoria Sinitsina style nightie. So, that probably was her knickers shining through.

She's young. She's still learning these things.​

I know! So excited to see him! But the audio this competition has been dire!

Major props to the Brit for using Darude's "Sandstorm!"

Edward APPLEBY (GBR) skating to "Sandstorm" by Darude.

And that made me sad. Because that music is always played just before every race starts at the Ulster Grand Prix. But the event hasn't been held since 2019, due to the pandemic and then financial issues. And going to it was always a highlight of the year for me.

There were hopes that it would return this year, but alas. And the condition of the roads that it is run on is badly deteriorating, so unless our seriously under-funded government resurfaces them, the race is unlikely to ever return.

My son, a professional system specialist visiting us this weekend, says that people who operate the system does not notice Ted's voice's volume is too loud and there probably is some button red, but they have made wrong adjusment instead of mixing the voice volume.
