i don't know.. i like Rio but I think his two first jumping passes were a tad overscored.

Someone up there wants to give him a chance to podium. But I'm glad he didn't have the YOG disaster here.

That's because you probably only see the Japanese skaters who make it to international competitions and those are usually the strong jumpers, and strong jumpers are often not strong spinners.

Wouldn't say Shoma, Yuzu or Yuma for example have abysmal spins - At least not now.

Those three are the ones who meet the bare minimum.

My goodness. With his new hairstyle, Rio reminds me so much of what one of the European skaters looked like when he was younger. But I can't place who it is! And it is really annoying me!
