No, they also did it last season. RD and pairs FS were replaced by challenges.

I didn't expect Ustenko to be the captain. But it's definitely going to be fun. His rare interviews are always very entertaining.

Today is exactly 10 years since Mironova and Ustenko started skating together (and since Ustenko switched to ice dance).

I guess since M/G were clean, they didn't want to risk throwing away the points for their team. Keep it conservative.
