2025-26 Russian Local Events – Discussion

Unfortunately I haven't seen Chikineva.

Kotlyarenko fell from combo but otherwise good impression. It seems to me she must have grown a lot in recent months.

Khrustalny has another Tarakanova, and another Anna. If this girl Anna Tarakanova would turn to be a meld of these two once int he future, that would be amazing :)

Edit: this girl is the tiniest cutest munchkin. She did only 3+2 combo, intentionally obviously, but I am curious about her future development. 59.50 is solid score.

Stefania Makina seems to be a good jumper, unfortunately she had some problems with the last spin.

I was away got back just for Alisa Eren. Interesting version of Pink Panther. 59.77. relatively little lower on components, but nice third place currently.

Anna Kolesnik was right on music, IMO the best as for expressions. But I'm afraid she might get UR call on combo.

Simonova/Kirsanov had a messy Free. Very ambitious, but they need more time to be comfortable with the elements, the program and each other.

Sad to see that Karpuk/Khvalko withdrew, but I'm guessing they haven't had enough time/run-throughs/stamina for the Free Skat yet as they are also a very new team.

Dasha Andreeva's dress is very pretty. This music has definitely been used before (in figure skating and in RG), but now I'm thinking about who used it.
Jumps and throws were mixed, one good and one bad each. Otherwise, a nice program.

Blinnikova/Karpov's twist is just wonderful and their throws are big (and the landings suffer sometimes due to this). Jumps were, well, jumps. I'd rather they do 3T+1A+1A than attempt 3T+2A, that combo is just not working for them. Does anyone know why their pairs spin was invalidated?

Arina Parsegova had very good jumps, but IMO she is next in line "we will purposefully keep her down", this time with levels, one spin and steps only level 2. She also seems to have grown a lot. Also the result was given suspiciously fast, she did not even left the ice when her final score (64.07) appeared.

Sofia Dzepka some smaller tech issues, little stumble in steps, one spin lvl 3 only and combo could have been better, but still elegant and beautiful.
