Max program was beautiful. A few mistakes but it was the first competition with a new coach. He will pull it together

Shun, you are currently 25% duct tape and haven't been jumping well in practice at all WHERE DID THAT GORGEOUS 4LZ COME FROM?

but seriously this was one of Shun's best skates in a long time and he did it while injured, I think the program works well for him even though he could do more to sell it at the end, choreographically all of the pieces are there.

also this costume is amazing, it's perfect for Firebird while being very classy and sparkly.

Knowing Sato was injured i am just happy he didn't have a bad fall. I hope he gets Oly spot. Always liked him and Miura in this gen of Japanese skaters. Now, if only Miura will be okay too....

Heh, poor condition MY BUTT. Sato did great! He seemed very relaxed actually. Apparently I was more concerned than he was. I’m not sure I like the program, but I like the costume.

Shun's jumps were absolutely BenoitGod-like but somewhere Plushenko is thinking some of his FPs had more choreography than that.

I love the men's free at Lombardia because the audience is going crazy, usually everyone skates really well, all of the other skaters are around to watch (plus some people who train in the area and came to see the event), and you can spot Adam and Ilia and other competitors randomly lurking in the background or at the boards.
