Ghilardi/Ambrosini had strong pair elements today but those planned double salchows SBS stuck out like a sore thumb to me, why not at least SBS 2 Flips? It's always more points and not much more difficult, but I guess they desire to have a 3S there but I don't remember the last time Rebecca succeeded at that jump ...

and I'm always amazed they don't go for it, so many exaggerated emotions to show

Their throws are really their best elements. I'm just happy they are at least getting positive GOE on the 2A+seq now, and I'm just choosing to ignore the Sal. They aren't entirely back to their best form, which I can't fault them for, but they are much better than at the end of last season. Building some consistency.
