I sat down for the men cheering for my darling, Hyungyeom, Kazuki, Roman, Camden, and Donovan. Hyungyeom was the only one who got close to clean. 2025 4CCs decided to not be good to me (except for the RD results maybe...)

I am praying that the ice and the judges will be kind to my girls, like seriously Sihyeong having to WD, Hyungyeom with tattered boots and a bad ankle, and my darling whose ankle is not in full condition either... One thing I'd give Kao credit tonight - he seemed more relaxed and free with his movements, which made his program more enjoyable.
I wonder if it's because he knew he can't do big tech atm. Less pressure on him to deliver the big jumps and that allowed him to perform more

@moonvine and I did. For me the free is the challenge for him. He is due anytime for a clean free, but we will see if there is too much firepower and redemption skates.Does Jimmy placing 2nd after the SP is in anyone's bingo card?
I hope he can keep it together in the free and not pressure himself too much, I'd love to see him stay in the podium!

Camden is the president of the United States of CactiCamden - this song is my musical guilty pleasure so I really enjoyed itLove that he didn't mash it up with another Moulin Rouge song, and the program builds nicely towards the end.
If Kazuki is cacti japonica, then is Camden the ultimate cacti americano? @elektra blue

From the score cards : tech panel made sure I had enough q protein and carrots for my post workout meal. Nice to see...

I am glad I saw it! Not just for Jimmy and Matthew & Jun, but for Tomoki's step sequence and for the joy of Darien Kaptich's performance.
So glad Jimmy was able to do Skating Club of Boston (and @moonvine ) proud in this trying time for SCoB. He is performing in Max N's place after all, who is also from SCoB.
I so hope Jimmy & Jun can have good FS's. I would like to see both on the podium.

I thought Douglas represented New Zealand - when did he swap? He's on ISU as representating Australia but on Skating Scores as New Zealand - I'm confused!

Tomoki is the former alternate who is competing in place of Maxim Naumov, who originally was named to the Four Continents team (withdrawal on Feb 1).
In the mixed zone, Tomoki spoke movingly about the Flight 5342 tragedy. He knew Maxim's parents and some of the young skaters who were lost.
Jimmy is the former alternate who is competing in place of Andrew Torgashev, who originally was named to the Four Continents team (withdrawal on Jan 29).
I'm glad Jimmy did well today. Very touching that Jimmy and Coach Letov held up photos in the Kiss and Cry to honor their lost Skating Club of Boston friends Jinna, Jin, Spencer, Christine, Vadim, and Evgenia.

Well, I am of course pleased with my beloved’s skate.
I kind of would prefer to see him in 4th because when he has to do pressers it freaks him out and he bombs the long program. He was 3rd after the short 2 years ago and came out and skated such an atrocious long program he was laughing at himself.

Sadly he’s had a lot of practice with the press lately. It might feel nice to have something happy to say for a change.
