Mark said at the start that ZHANG Jiaxuan / HUANG Yihang (CHN) are the youngest of the field, and you could see that not just in how they look, but also in their skating. I take it they are a relatively new partnership. They looked very green.

But, they were still good. I enjoyed them.

Sooooo good from YunaSumi, they're so fast that I'm constantly scared they're gonna run into the boards. Their lift is one of the best in this event and I really appreciate Yuna's death spiral position. It's so exciting to see how Japan has gone from just one team who was barely top 8 at Worlds in 2021 to a multi-time World Champion pair and a really promising young team in just four years.

Oh it was very good until the spin, again... But still very good. They are so fast and their basic skating is so much better than Chinese. They look way more confident and connected now.

I like both these young Asian teams, especially the Japanese. Lots of potential.

Zhang/Huang started really well but the terrible spin plague has apparently now infected the pairs

Not a bad skate for my Poles, better than in Canada. I like this program a lot.
Camera work is annoying, why do you show half of a person when two people are doing spins.
