No, unless they bomb and she makes the podium. And I’m defining bombing as skating badly. I’m of the opinion that if you’re not already in the selection pool by Nationals then you will not be selected regardless of where you land on the podium unless you win. (As of this writing, the possible exception to this is Sumiyoshi.)

209 was with the step sequence fall, and Western Sectionals is a lower scoring event than JNats. JSF does look at body of work, but they do also prize national medals highly (Kaori vs Wakaba in 2018, Mone making the 2024 World team etc.) and Saki’s been pretty strong this season

Since I need to start packing for my trip back I've decided not to post Jr Women, Jr Men and Sr Men FS Start Orders
