2025 JGP Baku Women's Short Program

Hmm, I don't know, the last Indian-themed program that I loved was Tara Prasad's and Tara is actually Indian and chose Tamil music IIRC

Aww :( she missed the podium last time because of a popped -2Lo (IIRC, but don't trust my memory) so I wanted her to have another fighting chance, ice is slippery but this drastically decreases her chances

Not the best skate for Haruna but she's so watchable. It's already 10pm in Baku and I wonder if this can be a bit late to compete for those girls in last groups, they probably are not very familiar with it.

Haruna is buttery smooth across the ice. Pretty spread eagle across the diagonal before her 3Lo. Bad landing on the toeloop, but a beautiful step sequence after, with an Ina Bauer into a knee slide. She has lovely spins.

Luck at the draw truly is a strong factor with the JGP circuit, you don't want to be too early and get the early group bias that some judges have even when the draw is random, you also don't want to be too late and compete at a time when you would normally be resting and/or going to bed

A good skate by Lilou. She waits patiently after the 3Lz, keeping her free leg off the ice, and gets the 2T done. Lovely extension after the 2A, and I like the knee slide after the 3Lo. She has a fantastically flexible I-spin and Biellmann.

Yuseong my girl I beg of you, let's work on re-stabilizing your -3T before your 3A... I know you grew taller and puberty is kicking in and that'll mess your jumps up but your sister is managing her growth spurt and puberty much better than you are, please do whatever she's doing

Also, minor nitpick since the dress is pretty, but the design looks much more like a night with stars than a night with a bright moon
