I love watching pairs throws too, Ted. It must feel like flying to the women landing them and I admire their seeming fearlessness.

When you are sitting throughout the first half of a programme anticipating the music turning into a certain piece that will really get the audience going... and it doesn't. Instead, it gets a lot more subdued.

A missed opportunity.

Brian Joubert would have gone for it!

Anyway, Jean MEDARD (FRA) goes into 2nd in both the FS and overall.

I was confused for a second about the Loop, but he did repeat 3A, 3S and 3Lo. He can jump, but now really needs to clean everything up nicely. Some work on posture and a strong back and leg line will do wonders for his score.
