You all know I like jumpsuits for female skaters, and they matched their costumes (looking accusatorily at some other teams). Shame about the fall on the 3STh, it was a really close attempt, like the 3FTh in the SP, but otherwise a very nice skate.

Megan YUDIN / Patrizio Romano ROSSI LOPEZ ESP. Megan has a lovely dress. Unfortunately we have the growling vocals of a bad romance that drive me nuts. They seem a bit shaky on their first three elements with shaky landings. The chandelier must be shaking a lot, they are still rather shaky today. I am sure they can complete these elements cleanly - it just isn't happening today. I also have musical whiplash.

And after a few partnerships with good music, we go back to the bad covers. Specifically the one that we actually refer to as "Bad Cover".



Oh no, it's getting even worse. Now it is a really bad cover of Sia's "Chandelier". It was very telling that there was a fall here.

Well, I suppose with what came before it, this mash-up of "Toxic" and "Sweet Dreams" isn't so bad.

Is this programme the result of a bet over how many bad covers you can get into one programme?!

I feel sorry for them having to skate to this day-in, day-out.

They go into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

Lots of red boxes, but still much better than last time. Again, once they get this completely clean, this will score very big, because the potential is there.

I am going to pay special attention to Louise & Matthis today because I have trouble remembering them later. Oh dear she broke her sacrum earlier this year - ouch.

Oh I like this program on them - it suits their long lines. Lovely lifts and throw so far to Memories of a Geisha. Now I can remember them - that program is lovely.

Oh Louise is wearing coach Lola Esbrat's dress.

I love the costumes, except for one minor detail. Instead of Matthis' shirt being "sparkling white" (as the washing powder adverts say), it should be the same shade of green as Louise's dress.

But that is my only complaint. I love everything about this programme.

The music is great (so much better than the partnership before them), and so was the skating.

I hope they go into the lead!

They do. In both the FS and overall.

Enjoyed the choreo sq and overall skate from Louise EHRHARD / Matthis PELLEGRIS even if not perfect. Some interesting choreo elements and positions.

Fairly good skate for Louise and Matthis. Good levels, very nice lifts, just the 2A didn't work for them.

Since her dress belonged to her coach, they probably could not match the dye lot to get a shirt that matched.
