Darja TRUBITSON FIN performs to The Hunger Games music. Opening jump passes appear landed, but need review. Kind of has a bit of Tonya Harding look to her. Jumps look underrotated a bit.

The skating started just over 3 hours ago with the Pairs SP. But I don't know whether the TV coverage has been on that long. The VPN in Opera isn't clever enough to go to Italy, so I can't get around RAI's geo-blocking. So I'm sticking with the Juniors.

Shuxian JIN CHN in pastel yellow, green and pink - only 14 years old. She skates to the Lu Chen classic Butterfly Lovers with vocals in Chinese. Very nice and neat - I find her adorable and clean. Keep your eye on this young lady with so much feeling in her arm movements.

She is lovely. I've heard this music far far to often to love it. However, she really has the most beautiful spins. She is a fast fast rotator. Not a big jumper but she gets it done.

Another charismatic young lady is Ariel GUO HKG in blue and yellow skating to Rio. Skating carefully into these jumps. She needs a bit more air time to finish these rotations but her air positions are neat and tidy.
