Well, that is sort of a common theme for Panova (though there are some exceptions, one of her former kids even had a 3A). I do think Stefania has an even weaker Axel than the other prominent Panova skaters, which is a shame.

(And there's another coach whose skaters have even worse 2A technique, imo )

Very solid. Great job from Barakhtina, despite an odd fall on 3S. We need more pleasant surprises like this in Canadian women.

Shame about the Salchow fall, but she has become so much more mentally tough since switching to Canada. A fall would have probably derailed her complete skate two or so years ago. Good JGP debut
