Thank God Phattaratida left Tammy, her jumps look much better again (the toe was under, but the rest were fully rotated) Of course, everyone can always improve still, but she's happy and I'm very happy for her.

Oh I love how confidently Isabella starts with that big smile. How nice to get Katelyn Osmond to do your program. The jumps are problematic, but her spins have pretty nice positions.

I can't recall this particular piece of music. The closest I get is Angela Nikodinov form 2002 or 2003. I swear someone skated to the Wilis but can't for the life of me remember who it was except that it back around that time frame. Possibly someone at Europeans? someone lesser known.

So nice to see a CAN lady in the top 4. I think she should have been 3rd here, but with it being her 1st international event her PCS was lower. This is why we need to get our skaters out as much as possible. Here she is in 4th place in her 1st international, so now have to wonder how she can handle the pressure of being close to the podium.

It was an interesting event, though I was surprised by the comment that Hwang didn't have the skating skills of the Japanese. To me she looked more convincing than Okada within her program. Other than that, the 'almost 60' group of 5 skaters would be really interesting to watch in the free, of which Hana Bath and Valeriya Ezhova were my favorite. Hope the latter is not a descendant of that man...
