Although it occured to me the other day it's a bit weird that a 13 year old can go up against an 18 year old in Juniors.

Go Jiarui! He jumps so nicely straight up and down. As he grows he will gain the strength he needs to power them fully. Watch for his marvelous split jumps. Lots of ballet training here.

The fall was unfortunate but otherwise a good skate. The 2F was planned, though he could have done a 2A instead today, but I'm not faulting anyone for sticking to their planned content
