She looks so petite on the ice. Is she similar in height to Hana?
She is skating with greater confidence and attack. Still some red and she botches a take-off as I am typing. I love the she is charting her own path and finding new ways to gain points and add to the vocabulary of skating,. The crowd appreciates her efforts. She is learning that she belongs at this level internationally.

Ahsun YUN KOR looked good yesterday and again today. She seems to have more trust in herself. On my Own is good music for her mental fitness since it asks her to be strong when she feels weak. She seems more settled and mistakes don't break her - she moves on. Such a beautiful skater.

Rinka WATANABE JPN has such a beautiful costume in glorious colors. The roar of support is really strong. Big beautiful 3A combo to start. The second one got lost in the air. She misses one more jump but the program really suits her. It is both gentle and powerful.

I was not expecting Watanabe to land her 3As. She always tries these ridiculous layouts in the beginning of the season which results in super low scores and doubt going into the GP.
