2025 NHK Trophy Men's Free Skate

Wow Yuma is still pissed about that spin error... I've literally never seen him that aggressive but at least SOMEONE wants to get their spin levels. That was all he talked about in his interviews and all he practiced this morning because that was a random error that he wants to rectify. It's important, too; Matteo would be clear ahead of Adam Hagara if he didn't bomb on his last two spins and I suspect this won't the be the last time I'm saying something similar in this event.

I fell asleep and woke up during Rizzo’s skate. I’m so out of it I thought he was Andrew and was cheering him on for wising up about his layout. Then I started wondering why he changed his free skate. Didn’t realize it was actually Rizzo until the end.

I just don't get Francois, he is one of those skaters who - for me - there is no there there.

Francois why must you betray me... a CCoSp4V drops you from at worst 6th to 8th overall 😭 boys... please... work on your spins, you all are killing me

...it's possible Jimmy has told Mark or the skating community of his future plans, please be nice to Mark, he really is one of the best commentators of the sport and I really don't think he has any ill will and wasn't trying to imply anything to Jimmy. Mark has been such an advocate for positive change in our sport, from highlighting skaters who speak up about issues to trying to make the JGP a safe and welcoming space for all athletes.
I love Mark. But anyone retiring an athlete bothers me. Jimmy did not skate well today. But he can still skate competitively. He was 1st at Cranberry after the short, and won bronze medal at 4CCs last year.

And Lukas looks as Oriental - even with swirly patterns, vaguely Scheherazade waving and an armband(??) as a chocolate pie. Sorry mate, at least you're trying!
