Eve DEXTER / Maxime FOUQUET (GBR) looked amazing! They were wearing matching black costumes with white pattern. For Eve, it was a jumpsuit. And for Max it was an open jacket and trousers, with a white T-shirt underneath.

They were skating to a medley of "The Game" and "Another One Bites The Dust". Except that it wasn't the Queen originals. Both songs were covers. And the singing was not up to scratch. Freddie would be horrified if he heard it.

Thankfully, the skating was far better than the singing.

They win the FS, and overall.

The Advanced Novices start with the two local partnerships. And because I was talking so much about the older partnerships, I didn't get to comment about the younger partnership yesterday, Victoria ABT / Alexander MUELLER (DEU). And they are the most local of the two local partnerships.

Very interesting programme. I take it is supposed to be a love story about an Alpine girl and a soldier. She is wearing a dress that conjures up pictures of "The Sound Of Music", although her dress is white and orange rather than white and blue. He is wearing a red T-shirt and open green shirt, with green trousers.

The music at the start was, erm, different. According to their ISU Bio, it was "Kill The Target" by Tomoyasu Hotei. Then it turned into opera, with "The Diva Dance" by Inva Mula-Tchako. I really don't like that song!

But they were good.

It is Victoria's birthday in two weeks from yesterday.

Oh, I wish I could remember what this music that Daryna ZIMINA / Jan EGOROV (DEU) were skating to is from. (Is it "The Three Musketeers"?) Because I love it!

Darya is wearing a red dress. Jan is wearing a blue and white shirt, and black trousers.

They were great!

They go into the lead of both the FD and overall.

Warunya Katharina SALENBAUCH / Paiboon Hermann SALENBAUCH (DEU) may not be twins like the older of the Finnish partnerships earlier, but they were also both wearing all black. The difference is that Warunya's dress had a red flower pattern.

That was in a different league to anything we have seen so far.

Oh, I can't wait to see them in Juniors.

They were already assured the win through their massive lead from the Pattern Dances. But they are also going to win the Free Dance by a massive margin.

What?! They finished in last position in the FD?!

Ah, they got a 1 point deduction for something. Did I miss a fall? Or was it one of these time violations? Hurry up and get the Protocols up!

They still win overall.

And with that, I am leaving to watch the bikes. After the resurfacing, we continue at Advanced Novice level. The marathon Ladies FS, followed by the Men's FS.
