Juniors showing much better than seniors did so far, incredible day. If FS is the same quality its just going to be such a treat.

I was hoping Lena wouldn't go for the 3A, but it looks like I was worried for no reason! Certainly not bad for only her 2nd time attempting it

Is that Lena's mother sitting next to her? Held my breath on the 3A as she held the edge too long.

That is Ekaterina Mitrofanov. She was one of Lena's coaches at her previous rink (and her mental game must be strong to join AoP to coach Lena yet again, given mama Kostyleva )

I would've expected a higher score for Lidia, but she sick and off the ice not too long ago, so it's still a pretty good showing. Probably the only girls left who will score 70+ are Petrova, Andreeva and Dzpeka
