Lake Placid looks endearingly like all those towns you see in Hallmark Christmas movie ads (no, I do not watch the movies, why do you ask? but my younger niece loves 'em and I suspect has a very strange idea of American Chistmases.)

It is a very pretty place, especially when it snows.

They appear to be showing three drunk spectators at the minute... with no sound.

Heaven knows I would be drunk enough for three people if I had been there for the first group of pairs.

I was looking away from the screen and heard Ted say "he's trying to find the ice" and was very confused for a moment like, aren't they all ON the ice?

Bluntly NBC needs to be fired here. Is too much to have broadcaster treat the sport with respect.

Liam really pushes and leans into those nice edges to get those jumps done with a lot of flow.

This was one of the best programs I've seen Liam skate, he''s finally gotten his 3A somewhat consistent and has such lovely airy triples. He also has great quality with his basic skating and posture. He's studying engineering which is crazy hard to do while you're also skating full-time - props to him for that!

Arrrggggh, this is a lovely song, why does this singer have to turn it into an overdecorated mess of a wedding cake? We don't need to know what a wonderful singer he thinks he is, it distracts from the skating.
