The Lutz is not agreeing with Maddie this season

The US juggernaut of Glenn, Liu and Levito are extremely strong. Everhardt and Tennell really needed to make immediate statements if they have any hope for challenging that trio and these short programs and scores do nothing to put them in the conversation at this time.

Bradie showed impressive courage to land that combo after the shaky first landing. Nice spins as always from her and I always enjoy a good Lana del Rey program.

Bradie SP, was very nice , the music don't fit with her dress or vice versa but technically was good enough,

She made her Olympic debut in a pale blue dress to Cinderella and this might be a full circle moment for her.

Agree! They can downgrade the jump but I thought that was a lovely energetic performance. Those leapy jumps looked fabulous.

Oh noooo, disaster short. This program works so well when Maddie is clean but is so hard to recover the energy and positive momentum from when she opens with a mistake. It sounds like practices are going well, and it's just an issue of struggling to translate that to competition. At least she transferred her frustration with the jumps into the step sequence and kept on fighting for levels and PCS points.

So sorry that Maddie is struggling so much this season. She looks lovely but the frustrations with the technical elements is taking its toll. I wish I knew what would help her.
