2025 Skate Canada Women's Short Program

Someone who seems to have figured out how to skate for herself is Lara Naki Gutman. Rotations are the struggle for her. Her skating is interesting, beautiful and haunting in this SP. She is one of my favorite skaters to watch because she is so unique and different while still being elegant and lovely.

Lara has been skating so well this season, and this was another strong skate. This program is a nice departure in the beginning from the more modern, intense programs she's done the past few seasons, but she skates it very well. It's still a bit quirky but shows off her range of performance. The lutz was a bit tight but everything else was great and she's starting to get some really high GOEs with her spins and steps.
