2025 U S. Nationals Senior Pairs Free Skate

seeing twists on the ground is scary... and they do this on the ice...

i think it's easy to take that element for granted but that's the scariest thing ever....

at Canadian nationals, i was with a friend who was freaking out about lifts, twists and throws... and i told her.. imagine, Deanna is getting thrown all over the place at 41.... and she wasn't a pair skater to begin with.. so she started getting thrown in her thirties...

crazy stuff... so my friend was like, yeah no... nobody would twist me lol

This was such a strong program for Audrey and Balazs - she's been skating pairs for less than a year, and is already this good. They started doing the 3Tw extremely recently, so I think they opted for the safer 2Tw here to preserve stamina and cleanliness. They have gelled so quickly, and have such good musicality. Their twist is only going to get better, as Balazs really excels at that element, and Audrey is so comfortable in the throws, a lot of singles skaters turn them into jumps but she gets such height and they are really a proper throw. I cannot wait to see this team next season, I think the sky is the limit for these two.
