For a nascent team this is very good. They make a great pair. Audrey was solid as a singles skater and if anything she has gotten better as a pairs skater!! He is a solid supportive partner. I can't wait to see them progress.

interesting.. so that was a mishap double then... in any case, it's absolutely normal that this would take a bit more time. I am impressed with how fast Audrey has picked up pairs.

For a while, I kept thinking how can a pairs man this talented not have a partner or keep losing partners? It is great to see him finally able to show what he can do. And for Audrey to learn so quickly is amazing.

i spent a lot of money on a special treat (fancy wine)

this is the one thing about attending skating live... it's not as comfortable and there is no fancy wine LOL

So i like that i am able to watch US nationals for once (you guys make it so hard at times) because i missed my vino at Canadian nationals and well my couch is nicer than the seats at Place Bell (even first row ) LOL

this being said, this break is very long and i need skating to resume fast before i get too inebriated

for those interested... I am watching on the TV APP... from Canada without problems... and with many prevagen adverts.

i guess i could switch to qq to get away of Tara.. but then... well... i am lazy.

It is a sad statement that most of the ads for the National Championship are diabetes medications, hair loss remedies, and river cruises featuring "fall color."

We gotta get some young people interested in watching our sport.

Audrey & Balasz. So many gorgeous, excellent qualities. Starting with Quality. So many people talk about Audrey's beautiful expressive qualities, and rightly so ... look how happy and sublime she looks at the top of the lifts. And she's reaching out to the audience with her joy. You can tell she just loves flying!

AND ... I was really noticing and enjoying Balasz' expression in this FS. I was particularly noticing how expressive he is with his arms, and how much that adds to the effectiveness of their program. He's so rock solid that it was a real shock to see him fall; no wonder Bruno yelled! But it's so good to see that so many of their other elements were so good that their scores reflected their excellence. Loved Audrey's face when she saw the scores. In the last couple of weeks, I've heard more than one coach and or/former pairs skater say that Balasz is the best men's pair skater in the US. I know, I know .... Danny, and Spencer. I'm just repeating what I heard. But it's interesting: he's rock solid but he also seems almost like he's got a little bit of the dance in him.
