Wow!! Megan is becoming so consistent
The Viktoria vs Megan battle for JWC is on. I’m leaning towards Megan heading to the free skate tmrw.

That Triple Loop was textbook though- tons of height

I think advantage to Victoria since her 3Lz-3T is more consistent.

Victoria didn't make a single mistake but Megan has more presence

I wish I was there to compare speed and ice coverage, because I was not that impressed with her at challenge to be honest - I thought that the skating skills and speed and power of the rest of the Canadian ladies really showed her up.

Her skates at challenge were rough... she made a couple errors early and kinda mailed it in.

When she's dialed in, she's as good as ever... but has a bad habit of quiting on her programs otherwise

Honestly, I like it. We could use some good rivalries. Enough with the fake smiles and performative hugs... tell 'em how you really feel!

Sure. To be honest, I don't think the American/ Japanese women are being performative either. Just different personalities. But, Maddie is always very direct in her communication. I loved her comments after Canadian Nationals last year, too.

Not sure how close this will be. Her spins didn't look particularly impressive...

Oh, I definitely can't see them putting that any lower than second. I think she'll probably be about 64?

Gabrielle does not look happy with 66 points for a program with basically a fall on her Lutz. Not sure how high she thought she was going to get - it's higher than I thought she was going to get
