You know what is funny is that I have heard some former skaters comment and they try so much harder with name pronunciation (Osmond and Moore-Towers for instance ) yet they are skaters by trade and not "pro" commentators.

I have a theory in that retired skaters put in actual effort because they aren't overconfident in their abilities (or to be precise, their contract renewals) as the "professional" commentators
