Charming start from Yuxuan XING / Han Wan CHAU.

XING Yuxuan / CHAU Han Wan (HKG) start us off with a Mary Poppins programme.

Yuxuan is wearing a red dress with white collar. Han Wan is wearing a black suit, white shirt and red dickie bow.

The costumes don't really make me think of Mary Poppins, but they look great in them!

And the skating looked great too!

Oh, Ted. They may both be from China, but they are actually representing Hong Kong. And it is significant, because they are the first Ice Dancers to represent HK.

They seem happy enough with their scores.

Lara SUNDBERG / Hector GONZALEZ ELVIRA (ESP) are doing a swing programme. We need more programmes like this.

Lara is wearing a black dress with white trim and a white belt. Hector is wearing a white shirt, black braces, and black trousers.

I absolutely loved everything about this programme. The music, the costumes, and the skating!

They are adorable!

Did Lara nearly have a fall near the end, but Hector manage to successfully disguise it as choreography?

The Spanish team are going wild in the audience!

They barely had half a point over the HK partnership, but they are going to really open that up now!

No they don't! They go into 2nd position in both the FD and overall.

YIN Shanjie / YANG Shirui (CHN) skating to a couple of instrumental pieces by Paolo Buonivino.

Oh, no. Some vocals came in about a third of the way through, and really spoiled it.

Shanjie wearing a beautiful dark blue dress. Shirui wearing dark blue shirt and trousers that match her dress, but are plainer.

The skating was really good. But I had lost my connection with the programme after the vocals came in.

Unlike the skaters and their skating, the music and the vocals were not yin and yang.

I'm sorry, I had to get that worked in!

They look worried waiting for the scores.

They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.
