Hmmn. I don’t see that dress which calls out to be recycled/reused. Mt first thought was how awkward/unflattering it is, that’s just me.

I do feel bad for them, it must be difficult to push yourself so hard and for it to just not come together in the way you want it to I do hope they'll get there eventually, hopefully soon.

Oh my god, I didn't notice before but they updated their heights in their ISU bio 
And yes, I was right, Polina is very tall, especially for a pairs woman, at 174 (!) cm.
Some small errors, but that was overall a very successful skate for Polina and Gabriel, especially with them getting both triple throws done cleanly. So proud of them

This probably qualifies as You Know You're A Skating Fan When...., but I read a quote in a news article yesterday about the rescue of an injured woman skier that said "she was quite a small woman, only 5'7" [c174 cm], and I thought "That's not small! Solid skate for Louise and Matthis. Their lifts are really good, as are their PCS and I'm seeing some improvement on the triple twist and throw. If it wasn't for the sbs jumps... Oh well, still a good skate

Actually the program was not at all bad—Memoirs of a Geisha does have a haunting quality to it—it’s just that the lower half of her costume is unfortunate.

That is very tall in most countries other than Nederland! I'm 174cm, and in the UK I am taller than the majority of women.
