Let's see if there is a hatchet job done on my favourite song of all time.

Reagan MOSS / Jakub GALBAVY (USA) skating to "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen (yes, the original recording).

Actually, the editing wasn't that bad. There was just one edit, where it went from the end of the starting section directly to the start of the ending section. And it was done very smoothly.

My only complaint would be that the tail end was speeded up, and sounded distorted as a result. And it was fading out during the gong at the end of the song.

Anyway, the skating was good.

They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Mixed bag for Reagan and Jakub, but not too bad. They come across as very sweet and grounded, you can't really help but root for them at least a little.

I was training at the pool and just when I finished the butterfly set, the power went out.. my first thought was ... great I need to change in a dark locker.. and then, my second thought was... oh noooo I may not be able to watch the skating without power..

anyway, the power outage is quite limited so my place is fine and I made it .

That was a really fantastic program from the baby baby Chinese team!!!! They have amazing SBS jumps, the 3Ts were wonderful, and a great twist and lifts as well. They are also charismatic performers, and I am sure the throw triples are in development, they have really strong throw doubles and with how big Chinese throws usually are it's probably better for Yuxuan's health to just do the doubles at this stage. I can't wait to see how this team grows more over their next three years in junior! They are already so good!

Wow, beautiful skate from Chen and Dong! I expect them to do triple throws next season and if they can keep those solo jumps other teams might be in troubles.

Ah, I love the baby Chinese pairs. The four we saw on the JGP this season were all very different from each other, but strong in their own way.

I think Yuxuan and Yinbo will be one of the teams that improve massively during the off-season - I'm sure those triple throws are coming - as they already have throughout the season. Love the 2LoTh technique.

CHEN Yuxuan / DONG Yinbo (CHN) doing a "Romeo & Juliette" programme

Yuxuan is wearing a grey dress. Yinbo is wearing a grey top with white trim, and black trousers.

The synchronicity of the Side-By-Side jumps early on was non-existant. It was a total mess.

But the rest of the programme was great!

They both look so young. But she is so tiny for her age! (13) And he is so tall for his age! (17)

But they are so good!

I don't know that the height is a factor for the levels... a not low enough death spiral is invalid I think. but whatever.

Chen and Dong are SOOOO good already. Just love watching them. Yuxuan is absolutely ADORABLE! And, she has a wonderful partner in Yinbo (even if she DID accidentally hit him in the face in the K/C with her enthusiastic clapping).

Herrera/Khobta have been a revelation at this event for me, they are incredible especially for being a new partnership and have impressed me so much in my first time seeing them. They are really well-matched and have great carriage across the ice, that 3Tw is amazing and they could easily do a 4Tw. They also bring a higher level of transitional content and performance quality, it's a shame about that 3S but I am sure that Hannah can do that jump in her sleep. They can easily move up and compete in seniors next season with their quality.
