Seeing Petr as the tall guy he is now, all I can think is "I remember when he was a wee squirt!"

When you see him skating like that, it makes you wonder where he would be in the standings if he hadn't hadn't had to change his SP music at the start of the week.

He might be up where I put him in my Predictions! :drama:

As it is, he goes into the lead of both the FS, and overall.

Really I was expecting close to 200 from that (and sounded some of the audience did too), but maybe that is fair, given how empty the program was performing-wise, and there were UR's.

Still, quite amazeballs. Did something go wrong with his SP?

His jumps all look a little Q to me.

And before people scream conspiracy, he went off the ice at 114.97. I knew he had 7 elements under review. They knocked off 11 points after review. This is what I keep talking about out in the forum, to keep people straight. This is simply how scoring works. Nothing is wrong with it.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I thought his PCS should be what they used to give Shaidorov a lot - around 80. They did. So I am okay with that.

Wow I dont say this often. But his score is low compared to what I thought he get. . Petr a 190 to 195 for free. Look clean on alotvif jumps. Pcs about right.

Combo 4f-2t which he just hold on.

Nice skate from Petr, got all his jumps done and had quite elegant movements

More than half the elements are under revision though.... he should lead anyway

The commentators on my stream talking about how Russian skaters have been deprived of going to the international stage and Nika bowing to Petr 🙂

In the end, his tech score gets downgraded like by 10 or 15 points, but he is still comfortably into the lead and will surely gained a couple of places going ahead

Very messy landings

Which was the correct review. Especially when they look under in real time, review is almost always worse.
