Also, unless he's willing to do the 4A/3T in the bonus, it doesn't make sense mathematically. He'd gain more points by doing a 4A, 3A and 4LZ/3T. However, based on today's practice, I think he's planning the more sensible 4F, 3A and 4Lz/3T. However, with Ilia, you never know, and I bet he has contingency layouts based on the scores of prior skaters.I don't like this. Doing a riskier combo in the individual event makes more sense because the excess points count towards your competition total. Here it doesn't matter if he finishes 0.01 or 100 points ahead of the next guy.
