PAIRS INJURY UPDATES:
  • Poor Wenjing has a bone bruise and a torn hip muscle in her right leg, I don't know how she's feeling since 4CC but she was really struggling in that event
  • Camille's shoulder should be okay, but it's taped probably just for added protection because dislocations become more common the more of them you have
  • Sara Conti tore a muscle in her knee on the 28th of December and was on crutches for two weeks. She has since been back on the ice and is wearing a brace, but it's mainly for mental support. She only feels pain if she lands badly on a throw/SBS/twist
  • Riku is completely healed from her shoulder dislocation, she says that she feels in the best shape of her life
  • We still don't know what's going on with Deanna and Max, only that they were injured a week ago and are still waiting on clearance from the Team Canada medical staff before competing in the individual event

Camille and Pavel walk in holding hands and waving with their spare hands. The camera then showed their names on the wall for a long time. But when they switched to looking at them on the ice, Camille was waving, while Pavel was doing a hand heart to the audience.

When it was their turn to be featured, Pavel was just joining up again with Camille. They had to wait for somebody to get out of the way, but then they did a beautiful throw. But then they just started skating around.

Later on, Camille's head strayed into a shot. And then they picked her up. But she wasn't doing anything. So they switched to Pavel. And he did a lovely jump. Then there was a noise, and he looked around to see what was happening.

And that was pretty much all we saw from them.

The reigning champions first, and then it's their turn.
