Eek! I had no idea that figure skating would be on so early in the day Italy-wise so I was expecting to have to catch up in the morning (Aussie time).
Unfortunately, the free-to-air channel that's airing the Olympics doesn't seem to have dedicated streams for the events so now I'm stuck watching Alpine skiing, which is fun and all but I'm missing the skating!

I mean they are small federation, but that doesnt prevent them from being favorites for a medal in my eyes, with the quality of their skaters
I know - It's so annoying! They literally played K.D. Lang singing Hallelujah at the 2010 Olympics instead of showing live-action figure skating. They were also doing a Lindsey Vonn watch (during the delay for the runs) instead of showing skating.Eek! It's quite odd because they (Channel 9 in Australia) did have the individual streams at Beijing in 2022, so I'm not sure why they're offering less now
Also the downhill skiing is like a training run? Why are we being shown this rather than the skating where the scores actually matter? Rude!
On the other hand I have to go to bed, I've got an archery competition tomorrow and need all the zzzs I can get

This was a great last group.
Germany commentary is pretty critical of everybody and anybody, but they were happy to see clean skates.

Korean commentators are a male announcer and my darling squirtle Eunsoo, the former does not know a thing about FS (nor the Spice Girls) and the latter is forced to also commentate for the paired disciplines which she does not know much about, as of such I'm watching on Claro Sport with a VPN (not free from commentary as I'd like but as a non-Spanish speaker I can not understand what they're saying and they talk softly)So how’s everyone commentary around the world? Australia is so blessed to have Belinda

And I've just realised... I'm watching a delayed broadcast... they've come back and now we're watching the Italians.
One of our commentators is a dude who usually commentates on trampolining... Belinda is here though. Man she's been commentating skating for Aussie audiences forever! She did Torino in 2006!
