Look how many places they pulled up. It’s pretty astonishing that they skated in the first group and pulled all the way up to 4th. Of course if the US champions had citizenship it would be different, but they don’t, so congrats Emily and Spencer!

Their 3rd ranked FS, the bronze they won at the fall challenger with a 71+ SP score, and the ineligibility of E/M and M/P made it possible.

Exactly! Plus, their experience and contributions to the U.S. discipline over the years of their career. They faced many challenges, especially physical challenges. I'm sooo happy for Emily and Spencer.
