Anabel has to be thrilled with her US Nationals debut, she put out a clean skate! Her 3F and 3Lz are very nice, she has a beautiful landing position, and she seemed to grow in speed and confidence as the program went on.

I'm very happy that I was wrong about them not showing the first group, although admittedly, there's plenty of precedent for my skepticism.

Also, very well done Annabelle for your first Nationals' skate.

The Japanese stream from the always-amazing Hua-Hua (aka QQ-man) is a thousand times better than having to listen to Tara and Johnny. I have a Peacock subscription but I'm sad they're not doing a World feed version with Ashley and Ben commentating like with Pairs.

I just subscribed JSports for this event.

Japanese commentator is Kensuke Nakaniwa. He is coach of Ami, Rinka and Yuna.

I myself experienced the tension of the Nationals right up until two weeks ago.

What a fun program from Erica, despite the jumping errors! It was impressive to get a +3T off of that lutz, I don't think Erica has really trained 3+3 but that helped get some points for the element. I love the Chappell Roan medley, and Erica choreographed parts of these programs, which is really cool!
