Oh dear! A Waxel and fall from Kagiyama! He should not make the final group with an error like that under normal circumstances, but he also skated an awful FS in Milan and walked away with the Olympic silver medal, so you never know what the judges will do with Yuma. *sigh*. WHAT A SHAME!!!

Kagiyama beats Torgashev for a spot in the final group. I’m not mad about it; Yuma is a much better skater than Andrew.

Well, that was what I was singing in my head, anyway. He was actually skating to a piece called "I Wish".

Ach, the Triple Axel went really wrong, and he had a freak fall!

But apart from that, it was absolutely brilliant.

He's understandably disappointed about the fall.

He goes into 5th position.

So sad for Yuma. This is one of my favourite short programs of the year. Every note of music is beautifully addressed.

not happy about the possibility of Gogo having to skate his LP right after Yuma... that's a lot of pressure for someone's first worlds.
