Sofia looks tired today. I feel for all of these skaters; it’s been such a long, stressful season. Now, breathe and enjoy the rest of this exquisite program.

I do love this program on her. It suits her perfectly.

I would like to see Sofia really extend these musical accents à la Sasha Cohen, who was known for not hitting a bad position.

Some of Sofia's jumps looked strangely heavy, but she worked herself through, sort of. Still a beautiful program.

Sofia has improved so much as a skater and performer, but she lost so many points on her normally-solid jumps with the lutzes and the tight landing on the flip-toe; the +REP will be very costly, although she did very well to get the combo off on the loop, and she also had very low levels on her spins. I am really excited to see the programs she creates starting next season, she is really gaining a reputation as a very musical skater and I think she could put out some really special programs.

Oh Samodelkina! That 3Lz+REP is super expensive. Good on her to still get all the jumps in though.

But she really needs to work on her spin levels into next season.

I hate all those Rippon arms - wish they'd limit them.

I was hoping Samodelkina would do better, but that was still a solid skate. The 3Lo+Eu+3S was very well done considering it was an improvisation.

Sofia is another skater who already past her peak form, she had to fight a lot, not much choreography and weak spins. Should be enough for 2nd at the moment.

The two big combos late after two major errors before that were very impressive but she lost several points on the spins and the jump errors were costly. Still, a very enjoyable to watch skate from Sofia.
