Anastasia started so strong with this program, but sadly the second half got away from her. Despite that, I really like this program for her, even if I don't like the music and voiceovers, she so clearly feels the music and is performing throughout so well. In years past, she would skate through the first half of the program or check out after errors, but she kept up the emotion all the way through tonight.

Go Nina!
There is a lovely simplicity and stillness to her skating. Her skating looks different from everyone else's and her interpretive skills really show. She needs just a bit more strength to keep from shorting those jumps. I cannot wait to see what she chooses for next year.

Nina's got a very nice natural stretch in her free leg on some landings

I love this program (and dress), Nina is such a gorgeous skater and so wonderfully expresses this quiet, subtle music. She should be very proud of her Worlds considering all of the injuries she's had over this season, she'll get a call on the opening combo but otherwise this was the best she's skated in years. She gets so many points for her spins, and that final choreo sequence is so effective.
