Anastasiia reached deeply into that place, elsewhere, from which all great art proceeds. She gave all of herself to it, to the very last drop. What comes afterwards will follow a time of contemplation, but if this were her last competition, she need have no regret for having withheld anything.
That is a very satisfying conclusion to her season. We will see what she chooses to do next.

Nina is a chronic UR skater but her jumps looked a lot better tonight, I would have maybe taken a second look at the second loop and the combo is definitely under but otherwise her jumps looked quite good. She has said she doesn't usually UR in practice, it's more of a mental thing that happens in competition, so she can do these jumps cleanly.
Both lutzes looked ur, second loop as well and the axel, the reviewed only combo and called it clean 🤡 🤡
Belgian technical specialist.

Even if they called her combo as under, Nina would still be in first based on her SP score, the score may be a bit high but her placement is absolutely deserved. I will be the first one to call out unders but most of Nina's jumps were clean tonight. The combo absolutely deserved a call, but that wouldn't have affected the ranking and the tech panel has been fairly lenient across the board, so at least there is some consistency. Lara had a few minor errors and has a lower BV than Nina.
